Today on Segment 16, the guys check out a story from Oceana county, where a family has been fighting a 150 foot high sand dune, that wants to wreck their home...very slowly.

The family has been carting away the sand as it encroaches on their property by running a bulldozer FOR NINE HOURS EVERY DAY! That's right! It's not a weekly problem, or monthly, or yearly...they have to haul sand away every day to keep their home from being enveloped in it.

At some point, you have to wonder why they even wanted to live there.

Also, the state has decided they aren't allowed to remove any more sand from the dune, so they can "save the dune". I know they call it a "living dune" because it moves, but do they really think it's a living creature that needs to be protected?

One county commissioner thinks it's all BS, too, and is trying to help fight the state.
