Police Search for Hit-and-Run Driver who Fled Scene on Foot in Holland Township [VIDEO]

Following a crash Saturday night, police in Holland Township are searching for a suspected drunken driver who fled the scene on the foot.  WZZM-13 reports that the incident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on North River Avenue at Douglas.

A man was turning left into a parking lot when he was hit by a 2009 Audi that was speeding on North River Avenue. The driver of the Audi got out of the car and fled on foot.

The man who was hit was treated for minor injuries and then released from the hospital.

Police have not released the driver of the Audi's name at this time.
