Police Investigate Car Break-Ins at Carpool Lots in Kent County

Police are investigating several break-ins at Michigan Department of Transportation "Park & Ride" carpool lots in Kent County this Labor Day, WZZM-13 reports.

As of Monday morning, police had found at least 7 seven cars broken into at lots at Post Drive and 14 Mile Road just off U.S. 131.

According to Michigan State Police, some owners of the broken-into vehicles had not returned to the lots by the time police left the scene.

Those owners are asked to call Michigan State Police at their Rockford post to file a report at (616) 866-4411.
