Around 4,560 Consumers Energy customers in Kent County will be without power for a few hours early Wednesday while crews make repairs, Wood TV8 reports.

The planned outage will start around 2a.m.

According to Consumers Energy, crews need to make necessary repairs to the Cascade substation, to prevent future outages.

The affected areas are in Cascade and Lowell Townships:  Hall Street to the north, I-96 to the south, Morse Lake to the east, and Kraft Avenue to the west.

Power is expected to be back on around 4a.m.
