One Year Ago Today, We Lost Slayer Guitarist Jeff Hanneman

There are a very few guitarist that I mourn the loss of, Dimebag Darrell being my number one guitarist that I mourn. However, last year, another fine metal guitarist was added to the roster of guitarist that are gone from the world of the living. Today, is the day that we celebrate the life of Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman.

The Slayer guitarist passed away from liver failure last year, and no, not from massive amounts of drinking. He passed away from contracting necrotizing fasciitis, most likely from a spider bite.
