Back to the Future, quite possibly one of the best trilogies out there. I have been watching these movies since I could walk, and you can find me quoting them quite a bit in normal conversation.

Next year is the year 2015. That is the year which the fictional time-travel character Marty McFly visited in the 1989 movie "Back to the Future Part II."

Along with the Hoverboard, this movie featured something I think would be awesome to have. POWER LACES! ALL RIGHT!

When it comes to movies, many of the writers thoughts of what the future would look like is pretty inaccurate. Unless you watch the old "Star Trek" episodes (CELL PHONES ANYONE?). Due to the massive following that Back to the Future has, Nike may as well bring the future to life by actually making self-lacing shoes.

In 2011, Nike built an exact replica of McFly's power-lacing shoes, with the proceeds of the sale going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to battle Parkinson's Disease. Fox played McFly in "Back to the Future," "Back to the Future Part II" and "Back to the Future Part III."

It's not specific on whether these new shoes will look just like the shoes in the movie, but they are looking at building a shoe that has a 'self lacing' feature. However, why wouldn't they make some Limited Edition shoes that replicate the movie? They could easily make a small fortune on that idea alone. There you are Nike; enjoy some money.

There is no set date for the power laces, but when will those Hoverboards from Mattel come around? That's what I want!
