It wouldn't be Lollapalooza without a little thunderstorm. This time, however, hundreds of thousands of festival goers were evacuated from Grant Park in Chicago as festival organizers postponed Saturday's (August 4) performances due to inclement weather.

City officials and the Lollapalooza camp decided to close the park at 3:30PM CT fearing the safety of everyone would be compromised. Even in the press area where we were stationed, security was rushing us to leave. Attendees were encouraged to take shelter at nearby underground parking garages along Michigan Avenue.

After we killed some time at the downtown Macy's like we're mall rats, Lollapalooza announced the festival would resume at 6PM. The schedule had to be revised with some acts being cut from the lineup. Check out the revised Day Two schedule here and check out our full report below.
