Lollapalooza 2012 has finally arrived this weekend! Over 100 bands are invading Grant Park in Chicago, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Black Keys, Black Sabbath, Jack White and more, for three days of killer music. Keep checking WGRD.com for updates throughout the weekend.

Day One of Lollapalooza 2012 is already in the books. We saw a ton of great bands perform on Friday and highly enjoyed ourselves despite the heat. Highlights included Anamanaguchi, a chiptune rock outfit that uses a hacked Nintendo Entertainment system and Gameboy to create some nerdtastic songs, indie folksters Blind Pilot, the Canadian synth-punk sounds of Metric, the reunited Afghan Whigs - who sound like they haven't missed a beat since their 2001 breakup - and French electronic group M83.

As our Lollapalooza onsite report video below will tell you, we were torn over who to see Friday night: The Black Keys or Black Sabbath. In the end, most of us went to see the metal icons of Ozzy Osbourne and friends while some went to see the Black Keys. We'll have more detailed recaps of both performances later today. Now on to Day Two!
