Linkin Park sure know how to drop some bombshells. We already knew that the band was releasing the first single from their upcoming album, called "Burn It Down", this week. We now have a name for the record and a release date. Living Things will drop in stores on June 26. However, it gets better as Linkin Park announced that they are co-headlining this year's edition of the Honda Civic Tour with Incubus, which includes a Michigan date!

Living Things was co-produced by music royalty Rick Rubin and LP's own Mike Shinoda. The album is the follow-up to 2010's electronica-leaning A Thousand Suns. According to vocalist Chester Bennington, Living Things will be a combination of their experimentation with A Thousand Suns and their heavier past.

"This album is a really great representation of where we're at right now as a band," Bennington told MTV. "We're kind of really comfortable with our early nü-metal days, and we're really comfortable with where we're at in our more contemporary version of ourselves; so this is a good representation of that comfort level with our own identity as a band."

Fans can start pre-ordering Living Things later today through LinkinPark.com, and all early orders also come with a download of "Burn It Down". Early birds also receive a monthly subscription to access eight new remixes from the album itself.

The 2012 Honda Civic Tour with Linkin Park and Incubus, and special guest MUTEMATH, kicks off August 11 in Bristow, VA. The trek will make its way to the Palace of Auburn Hills on August 21. See all the dates announced so far below.
