Jenison Man Charged with Spying on Woman in Tanger Outlet Fitting Room

42-year-old Jeffrey Green of Jenison is facing charges after allegedly peeping at a women changing in a fitting room at Tanger Outlets in Byron Center.

Green is charged with surveilling an unclothed person, using a computer to commit a crime, and eavesdropping, Fox 17 reports.

The incident occurred March 4. Police say a woman was inside a fitting room at a store at Tanger Outlets when she saw a cell phone being held over the wall above her.

The woman alerted store employees who confronted Green. Green denied any wrongdoing and fled.

The woman's husband was able to get Green's license plate number, who was later arrested.

The name of the store where the incident occurred has not been released.
