Alt rock veterans Jane's Addiction have unveiled the music video for their single "Irresistible Force" today. The track is from their upcoming album, The Great Escape Artist, due out October 4. Watch the clip in its entirety after the jump.

"Irresistible Force" starts off with three girls clutching their bare chests and eyes cover by black bars. The scene then cuts to guitarist Dave Navarro and drummer Stephen Perkins jamming out and a glamorous looking Perry Farrell superimposed beside them. The mood of the video fits appropriately with the swelling chorus and composition of the song.

The Great Escape Artist is only the fourth studio album in Jane's 25+ year history. Original bassist Eric Avery left the group in 2010 and was replaced by Velvet Revolver's (and ex-Guns N' Roses member) Duff McKagan. The stint was short-lived, however, as McKagan left the band last September.

Jane's Addiction announced earlier this year that Dave Sitek from TV On The Radio would fill in on bass duties for recording The Great Escape Artist. Chris Chaney will be the group's touring bassist.
