While Halestorm may have just been in West Michigan last week for the Mass Chaos tour with Godsmack and Staind in Battle Creek, the Pennsylvania rock masters are coming back to Grand Rapids this summer at The Intersection!

Halestorm released their second studio album, The Strange Case Of..., last month. Their first single, "Love Bites (So Do I)," has been tearing it up here on GRD and on rock radio stations around the world. They have been touring non-stop in support of the record, which isn't a problem according to frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “Fire, energy, it’s the tingling feeling in the tips of my fingers every time that we perform.” the rock goddess told JVC Mobile. “The thing I love most about being on the road is just chasing after the excitement.”

Halestorm will play at The Intersection on July 21, along with special guests New Medicine and Emphatic. Tickets are $15 in advance and go on sale this Friday at 10am at the Intersection box office and SectionLive.com.

In related news, Lzzy Hale unveiled her own guitar created by Gibson. The instrument maker presented the singer with her own signature Gibson Explorer. Lzzy was more than grateful for the gift.

"Seriously, I nearly cried when I saw this guitar, my whole as a guitar player has waited for this day," she tweeted. "Thank you so much to @gibsonUSA. My dream has come true today! I wear this each night with honor for all the people who made it."
