Green Day are keeping the new material coming, as the punk veterans have unveiled the artwork for their new song, ‘Oh Love.’ It’s the first single from their new album ‘¡Uno!,’ the first in a trilogy of releases, that is on the way this fall. Fans will also be able to get their hands on not one, but two new documentaries from Green Day.

As Idolator brings up, Green Day have dropped the red-black-white color theme from their last two albums, 2004′s ‘American Idiot’ and 2009′s ’21st Century Breakdown,’ and have embraced the happier fluorescent hues. You can hear a preview of ‘Oh Love’ below, and grab the full song on July 16.

The band has stated in the past that the new discs will be more straight forward rock compared to ‘American Idiot’ and ’21st Century Breakdown.’ Judging from the brief snippet of ‘Oh Love,’ that definitely seems to be the case. The track combines old and new Green Day, sounding like the ‘American Idiot’ epic ‘Jesus of Suburbia’ had a baby with the ‘Warning’ hit ‘Minority.’

The two documentaries on the way will cover the making of ‘¡Uno!,’ ‘¡Dos!’ and ‘¡Tre!,’ as well as the period of Green Day’s history before their 1994 album ‘Dookie’ made them mainstream rock stars.

While no release dates have been given for the documentaries, the Green Day camp hope to have them out by next year in time for the Sundance Film Festival. ‘¡Uno!’ will drop in stores on Sept. 25.
