Today on Segment 16, the guys check out a story about a Grand Rapids family that lost $3,000 in belongings, when they left a sign that said "Free Stuff" in their yard. Then they left.

They were hoping to get rid of some stuff they'd had in a garage sale, but they didn't adequately put away a bunch of things they actually wanted to keep, and people surprised them. Didn't surprise anyone else, but people went right into the area of things that the family wanted to keep, and took everything of value.

The police can't really search and charge anyone, since the family did leave a sign in front saying "Free Stuff", so it's pretty much their own problem. Do you think anyone knew that the sort-of-separated stuff was not up for grabs?
