Grand Rapids Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a Flagstar Bank branch this morning on 44th St.

Police responded just before 10 a.m. Monday to the branch on 44th St. just east of Kalamazoo Ave. 

The suspect implied that he was carrying a weapon, but didn't show it to anyone, Grand Rapids Police Sgt. Terry Dixon told WZZM-13. After implying he had a weapon, he demanded money from a teller inside the bank.

Police still are searching for the suspect and ask that residents avoid the are.

 

 

The robber was described as being age 40 to 50 standing about 5’6″ to 5’8″.
