We loaded into a rehearsal studio at noon yesterday. We rehearsed the new version of "Bloody Sunrise" and worked on a new song that we're calling "Superhero," but that title could always change. It was so refreshing to actually listen to and hear the music we were making. The monitors in a live club situation are always just enough to get by, never really enough to actually inspire. As a player, your ears tend to take a few songs to adjust and then you start to find the each instrument as you go along. Sometimes I don't hear Dean's bass until the 3rd song in the set and it's like "Oh, hey Dean! Glad you're here!"

It was dark by the time we left the studio and we were all exausted. Rehearsing new material takes a lot of brain power, haha! We spent the late part if the evening making dinner and doing laundry.

I planned on practicing last night but I crashed early after a watching episode 2, season 4 of "Breaking Bad". We are all watching it separately, but at the same time. Chip and I are the furthest along, though Dean and Ty are catching up. Mitch was late to jump on board , he just watched the first episode of the first season last night. I went to bed early because I had a sore throat all day, which can be the early signs of a cold. I'm feeling better today. We are all super careful when it comes to getting sick. With our lifestyle, it's so hard to get better once you catch something, and put everyone in the band at risk.

We're heading back to the rehearsal room today. We need to write parts for "Superhero" and another new one called. "Chicago."  I'll let you know how it goes. It's been kind of strange to be in the same town for multiple days, but it's been nice. Usually I use my "Around Me" app everyday to find coffee, food etc. I've actually known where everything in the neighborhood is for the last few days! This must be what it's like to live in a home. . . It's all coming back to me! Haha!
