The new Grand Rapids Brewing Company has opened in Downtown, at the corner of Ionia and Fulton. It's housed in the old "My Bar" location and right across the street from the new Buffalo Wild Wings. And on Wednesday at 3pm, there was a line out the door. This IS Beer City USA, so it makes sense.

Hope College student Jodi Beckman was crowned the new Miss Greater Grand Rapids on Saturday, December 1, at the Kroc Center in Grand Rapids.
Beckman will represent the Greater Grand Rapids area in the 2013 Miss Michigan Pageant in Muskegon next June.

This morning at about 7:20am a man jumped to his death from the Ottawa Ave parking ramp. It is being reported that he man initially ran his car into the side of the parking structure and then shortly afterwards jumped from the top floor of the ramp.
