This past weekend at the 28th Street Showplace, the 2014 West Michigan Gaming Convention took place for it's 2nd year. If you are a fan of table top gaming, Magic: The Gathering, and just gaming overall, this is the place you needed to be!
Time for another Throwback Thursday! This picture comes for A LONG time ago, where I was at my friends place after a band practice in my old punk rock band. Usually when I went to a friends house, I raid their fridge (for a good laugh). This time I raided the cupboards and found this gem.
Cristina from Lacuna Coil is our guest on the show this week as we celebrate their new album Broken Crown Halo. We’ll have another edition of Jasta’s weekly Pick From the Pit and the Dethklok Brutal Pick of the week
One thing that I think would sell a lot more Nintendo WiiU's, is if they finally bring out a Super Smash Bros. game! When someone mentions a new Smash Bros. game, money basically pours out of wallets. I played Smash Bros. Brawl so much in College, we got an achievement for playing over 500 hours. People have been wondering, where is this new game? What's going to be new about it? What's so great? Nintendo FINALLY has some answers.
For the past couple years, the West Michigan Whitecaps have been serving a record breaking burger. This thing is huge and is packed with a calorie count that could rival the National Deficit. I have always been intimidated by it and wanted to taste it, but never wanted to eat the WHOLE THING and go for the challenge. Finally! After a few years, I can finally say I tried it...how was it?
Had to go pick up some tickets to give away here at WGRD (stay tuned for those soon) and I stumbled past a reminder at the Van Andel Arena of an awesome show that I saw! This was the second time that I saw this band, and I remember being really excited to see them a second time in one year!
I love the Blue Bomber! Who doesn't honestly? He's freakin' MEGA MAN! I do love the old Mega Man games for NES, but Mega Man X was way better in my opinion. When you pop Mega Man X into your SNES, it's a roller coaster ride! The first one was amazing, the second one was just as good, so why stop there? Better make another one that is just as good! Good luck finding it though...
They call me Metalhead Ned, which means that I listen to metal 24 hours a day right? That is true yes, but only partially. For me to only listen to ONE type of music doesn't allow me to expand my mind that much. Remember, I am quite the video game nerd. Today, I have been jamming out A LOT of piano music...specifically Nobuo Uematsu.
