If you think your town has some downright wacky traditions, you'll probably be amazed by this town's. Yellville, Arkansas has a parade dedicated to the now 71-year-old tradition of the "turkey drop." That's right, as if a town named "Yellville" doesn't make you think it's obnoxious enough, each year, they drop live turkeys from a plane while the whole town is gathered around with a parade and vendor booths.

This event has the town a bit divided. People claiming "Turkey Lives Matter" think the event is inhumane, while others claim that because turkeys have wings, they can just "glide down"  and that makes it alright.

No matter which side of the turkey talk you're on, can we all agree this tradition is downright weird?
