A Perfect Circle to Tour This Summer
Supergroup rock veterans A Perfect Circle are hitting the road this summer for a North American tour. Their headlining set at this year’s Rock On The Range festival in Columbus, OH will kick off the trek.
After reuniting last year, A Perfect Circle went on a small U.S. tour last fall to test the waters about how they would be received after a 6-year hiatus. The band didn’t have to worry about their relevance as they played to packed venues during those dates.
The tour will take them coast-to-coast in the U.S. and will make a stop at the Fox Theatre in Detroit July 8.
In related news, new Tool material is apparently in the works. Maynard James Keenan told SPIN last fall that his Tool bandmates were in the early stages of writing new songs.
“They are getting together and writing,” Keenan said. “I’ll be popping back into L.A. soon to check in.”
