Michigan fared pretty well on season 16 of Fox's cooking competition, "Hell's Kitchen". Last night, February 2nd, Traverse City sous chef Kimberly Ann Ryan won $250,000, and the head chef job Yardbird Southern Table & Bar at the Venetian in Las Vegas!

Kimberly graduated from the Culinary Institute in Muskegon, and did very well every week on the show. She competed in the final show on Thursday night, and won three out of four rounds, to defeat Pennsylvania sous chef Heather Williams for the Grand Prize!

The finale of the season included a lot of surprises for the two finalists, and some challenges, as Kimberly had to be in charge over a rival chef from the show, and there was some confrontation. The rival chef tried to sabotage Kimberly, but she still managed to pull out the victory.

Congratulations to our Michigan girl, Kimberly! More great news for Michigan!

BONUS POINTS: She's really hot.
