1983 Axl Rose Demo Tape [VIDEO]

Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles by way of Indiana, now legendary rock singer Axl Rose joined a band called Rapidfire.  The year was 1983.

Rapidfire guitarist Kevin Lawrence has shared a brief demo of the band's song "Ready To Rumble" featuring a 21-year-old Axl on lead vocals.

After Rapidfire disbanded, Axl joined L.A. Guns before forming Hollywood Rose with guitarist Izzy Stradlin.  By 1985, Guns N' Roses would be born and the rest is history.
