    The West Michigan Whitecaps kick off their 2017 season! Their home opener on Thursday was postponed due to the weather -- so it will be a doubleheader on Friday against the South Bend Cubs!

    Easter is only a week away. Don’t miss your chance to ride the Coopersville & Marne Railway on the Bunny Train. Kids of all ages will enjoy this 90 minute train ride through the countryside. The Easter Bunny and her friends perform in each of the vintage passenger coaches. At the end, the Bunny and her friends will pass through with baskets filled with goodies. Each child gets to pick one toy for their very own.

    Celebrating All Walks of Life Traditional Pow Wow

    This is a community gathering and celebration of culture through ceremony, song, dance, feasting and socializing. At a Pow Wow you can expect to find dancers, drummers, singers, vendors, and food. There will also be a silent auction. The event is FREE and open to the public.

    Art Downtown

    Downtown Grand Rapids, MI

    This one day event features several hundred artists in many of the galleries, businesses, and studio spaces around downtown Grand Rapids. You will find artists and musicians exhibiting and performing at a variety of unexpected locations from U-haul trailers, the Art Museum, parking lots and private studios. The Grand Rapids Trolley will provide free transportation to all the major areas of Art.Downtown.

    Eggtastic Exploration

    It’s Springtime! Learn about all the different animals that are getting ready to lay their eggs. Go on a hunt to find eggs that are hidden throughout the forest. Children will enjoy a craft at the end of the exploration.

    Hockey: Grand Rapids Griffins vs. Cleveland Monsters

    The Grand Rapids Griffins play the Cleveland Monsters on Saturday night at the Van Andel Arena. As part of the fun, it will be Mascot Mania -- Griff and Finn will be with 18 mascots from area schools and pro teams, including Roary from the Detroit Lions. The mascots will visit fans throughout the game and take part in intermission activities.

    The Amazing Dinosaurs exhibit will be at the Children’s Museum through June 25th. Children have a chance to dig up fossils, examine dinosaur habitats, put on a dinosaur puppet show, come face to face with your favorite dinosaurs, and more.
