Jason Parks began a year-long journey on March 18, 2019. He will be running at least four miles per day for an entire year for a project he is calling "4 for the sober."

Parks hopes to "help others stay motivated who are trying to stay or get sober to change their life for the better."

Parks says running and sobriety are a huge part of his life and that the year of running will "be a great reminder that sobriety is truly one day at a time."

Parks is the founder and president of Egress Endurance. The Holland-based event management company organizes trail, ultra and endurance events as they partner with various non-profit groups.
