The Wienermobile Is Making Multiple Grand Rapids Appearances Next Week
A few weeks ago, my friend posted a photo on her story of the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile driving around Grand Rapids, but by the time I saw it, it was too late to catch it. Like many, I enjoy this large, weiner-shaped vehicle, but I haven't seen it in person yet.

But that can change very soon, because the Wienermobile is going to a friendly face around Grand Rapids in the coming weeks. Plus, if you miss it next weekend, did you know there's a permanent retro Wienermobile stationed here in Michigan? There's lots to look forward to as we end the summer.

Wienermobile Visiting West Michigan
According to MLive, the Wienermobile will make 3(!) appearances around West Michigan in the same weekend, between August 20 and 23. The mobile will visit Ed Dunneback and Girls Farm in less than a month on Thursday, August 20th, then stop at the 28th Street Metro Cruise on the 21st, and wrap up at Bark in the Park in Holland on the 23rd.

These dates haven't appeared on the Wienermobile tracking website yet, but you can still see where the other 5 "hot dogs on wheels" are around the nation. This will be the second visit to Ed Dunneback in less than a month, and the Wienermobile was at the Gilmore Car Museum on August 2nd.
Henry Ford Museum's 1952 Wienermobile
Speaking of museums, did you know the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn has a 1952 Oscar Mayer Wienermobile on permanent display? It was donated in 2008 as one of the five original Wienermobiles, and for 1950, it's a pretty impressive feat of engineering (spoken like we hadn't created a nuclear bomb just a few years prior).
So even if you don't run into the Wienermobile in the wild next weekend, there is still one here you can see anytime.
