But if you're from outside the US, these pizzas are only words of legend until you've experienced it for yourself, and that's exactly what these two British YouTubers experienced for the first time when they took a trip to Detroit.

Now, for clarification, when I say Detroit-style pizza, I don't mean Little Ceasers even though they are headquartered in Detroit. I'm talking about Detroit style: thick, crisp, and chewy, usually rectangular with sauce on top.

When YouTubers Josh and Ollie, whose channel JOLLY has 4.44 million subscribers, posted a video on January 31st of the duo trying Loui's Detroit Style Pizza where the two had nothing but great things to say.

Their first bites were met with looks of delight, with one using a knife and fork to cut up his slice and the other showing some real "Detroit Grit" and using his hands. The duo tried a variety of different styles, including one they called a "surprise" pizza that had the cheese on top and pepperoni underneath.

JOLLY also attended a Lions game and tailgated for the first time, and if you want to experience some Brits experience culture shock, those videos are pretty funny too.
