Tuesday night, we hosted our first GRD Christmas Party at the Stache, with tons of cool autographed stuff to give away as Christmas presents, and some great live music! Citizen Zero came over from Detroit to have some fun with us, and one of our very own Grand Rapids bands, Deepfall rocked the show, too!

Today, I got to talk with Josh LeMay, the singer and guitarist for Detroit rockers Citizen Zero. They're coming to have some Christmas fun with us on Tuesday, December 20th at the Stache for the GRD Christmas Party! Josh and the band are really looking forward to the show, and hanging out with Grand Rapids.

Today on Segment 16, the guys begin to go through and watch all the band entries for the Wayland Hometown Holiday Extravaganza contest. Which bands will they like, which will they hate, and how much trash are they going to talk about all of them?

Before Crobot took the stage at the Intesection with Sevendust on Tuesday, September 13th, they stopped by WGRD to hang out with some winners and perform some acoustic versions of their songs. Great guys, really funny, and such a cool experience with a new take on their music.

On Monday, August 1st, Skillet visited WGRD to play some songs for GRD winners in our special “acoustic lounge”, which is basically a big empty room we can set up. The band met everyone, signed stuff, took photos, and played some cool acoustic versions of some new songs, and a crowd favorite.

Tonight at the Stache at the Intersection, there's a FREE show happening with Dorothy! What's better than free? Before the show, the band stopped by WGRD to talk about their band, the tours, and the new album, Rock Is Dead. They also played a couple songs for us, acoustic style.

On Friday, a great band from Detroit, Citizen Zero, came to visit GRD and play some of their songs acoustic for a bunch of winners. We got a bunch of people in to meet the band, and check out their acoustic performance.

On Monday, the awesome people in Sick Puppies stopped by GRD to play some songs acoustic for GRD winners and staff. It was really cool to hear them stripped down like this, and we all had a great time! They hung out and had fun with everyone for a while, took photos, signed stuff.

On Monday when the Sick Puppies visited GRD to play for a bunch of winners, they played several songs for us all, and they were great! Not only did they play great, but super nice people, and a lot of fun. They met everyone and took photos and signed stuff. Thanks to the Sick Puppies, and all our winners for coming!

Monday at lunchtime, the Sick Puppies stopped by WGRD to play some songs for us and, more importantly, a bunch of GRD winners! They are supporting their new album Fury, and this is just the first visit to GR, and they'll be back October 3rd at the Stache!

Friday night, May 20th, Ghost hit the Orbit Room for a packed show in Grand Rapids! The band Pinkish Black opened the evening, on the last day of this leg of the "Black to the Future" Tour. Check out video of Ghost, and the introduction of the GRD Sisters of Sin contest winners!
