Hopefully the show will be able to happen-- There are things up in the air still with large gatherings, and it will depend on the percent of people who are able to be vaccinated by that time. Another outdoor show at Soaring Eagle, Megadeth, was recently announced too.

That said, Shinedown pre-sales are going on now and tickets go on sale here to the general public this Friday, March 12, at 9a.m.

Soaring Eagle Casino says that masks are mandatory and temperature checks will be required.

Shinedown had previously announced additional concerts in August, with singer Brent Smith saying, according to Loudwire,

"The biggest thing is we need to be able to trust the medical community, trust the people to get us through this. But as far as touring is concerned, we're locking in. Fingers crossed, we're gonna be doing shows — full Shinedown — hopefully by August of this year."

Smith's side-project with guitarist Zach Myers, Smith & Myers, has also announced a run of acoustic shows in May.

In other Shinedown news, the band has been working on a new album, which Smith says may come out in late summer.

West Michigan's Pop Evil has a new album on deck too. We've hear the band's sixth album, Versatile, is potentially on the way this spring, and are awaiting a release date. They recently released a music video for their new song, "Breathe Again".
