Scooter’s Coffee Now Open in Grand Rapids – AND Another One is On The Way!

Coffee lovers, get excited! A new spot to grab a cup of joe (and treats!) is now open in Grand Rapids.

Scooter's Coffee, a Nebraska-based coffee shop with more than 300 locations nationwide, has opened its first Michigan location in Grand Rapids - and they're planning to open another before the end of the year!

Scooter's Coffee Opens on Plainfield Ave. in Grand Rapids

Earlier this year, we told you that Scooter's Coffee was building a 664 square-foot, drive-thru only café in the parking lot of the Plainfield Plaza strip mall at 3150 Plainfield Ave. NE.

It's now open to the public!

Though Scooter's website still lists the GR location as "coming soon", a representative confirmed via email that it is indeed open. The new coffee shop is open seven days a week, 5a.m. to 8p.m.

It was while I was checking out Scooter's website I noticed a listing for a SECOND Grand Rapids location!

Another Scooter's Coffee to Open in Grand Rapids

The rep from Scooter's confirmed they are opening a second drive-thru coffee shop in the area, at 44th and Breton in Kentwood.

She says the Kentwood Scooter's is set to open by the end of the year, depending on construction and training.

Scooter's Coffee: Quick Service and High Quality Drinks

In 1998, Scooter's Coffee co-founders Don and Linda Eckles opened their first drive-thru coffeehouse in Bellevue, Nebraska.

For hot drinks, Scooter's serve a variety of flavored lattes, Cappuccino, Americano, Mocha, hot chocolate, and of course, coffee. Here's how Scooter's describes their brew:
