Thom Brennaman heard using a homophobic slur over his mic during a game against the Kansas City Royals, in his apology he says that he doesn't know if he'll ever be putting his headset back on.

CNN reports that Brennaman was pulled off the air during the second game of the double header.

In addition to being the voice of the Reds, Brennaman also works for Fox Sports. It's unclear if he will continue in his role with Fox. Fox Sports Ohio tweeted out their support of the Reds' decision early Thursday morning:
