Pregnant Woman Feels Body Shamed After She Was Denied Service
A pregnant mom in Marysville, Washington is outraged after she said she was "body shamed" at the Buzz Inn Steakhouse.
Charisha Gobin was approached by a waitress/bartender who told her, according to KIRO "I'm sorry, you can't be here in that shirt." Gobin was wearing one of the popular half-shirts and a maxi-skirt when she was asked to cover up.
The restaurant claims they have a "no shoes, no shirt, no service" policy and anyone wearing a shirt like that would have been asked to cover, but Gobin feels that's not true. Gobin thinks she was only told her shirt was not appropriate because her pregnant belly was sticking out.
Claiming body-shaming, Gobin took to Facebook like any sensible, slightly offended white lady would do and the Buzz Inn released an apology.
