Hey everyone! I don't have a lot of time to go into detail about the last 24 hours. We arrived in LA around 5pm. Dean, Ty and Chip are staying in what could be considered somewhat of a crack-hotel in the valley. Haha! Mitch and I are staying at our producer Mike Gurley's place, just so we can continue writing between sessions. Mike, Mitch, and I were up until about 2am discussing previous mixes of all the new songs.

At 7am this morning my phone started ringing. It was Steve, the producer of the Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning show. He said "you're going on the air with the guys in about 40 seconds." In tradition of our friendship they teased me for being sleepy and made fun of the band while they announced our April 5th show at The Intersection in Grand Rapids. We're filming a live DVD that night, recording a version of "Get a Little" that may end up being the single. I'm really proud to be donating a portion of the proceeds to fund research on a disease called A.T. We are looking forward to a really special night.

Mitch and I had a great stroll to Trader Joe's this morning where we stocked up on groceries for the week.

We are in the recording studio now. I'm hoping we can get tracking for "Bloody Sunrise" done, and finish mixes on "Follow" and "All We Had." It's a lot to do in one day, but we work fast, and our engineer, Florian Ammon, works even faster.

I'll keep you updated on what we get done! Thanks for reading my tour log!
