Ticket Information on the Rush “Fifty Something Tour” 2026
Rush shocked the world today when announcing their Fifty Something Tour for 2026 with drummer Anika Nilles, and we have all your ticket and tour information here.
Rush stopped touring after the R40 Live Tour on August 1, 2015, which was then believed to be their final performance. That tour marked the last time the band performed with legendary drummer and lyricist Neil Peart, who passed away on January 7, 2020..
Rush Announces Return to the Stage in 2026
I was shocked when I received an email from a friend who works with the team working behind the scenes to help Rush return to the live stage again. I couldn't believe what I was reading, and then I began texting with my music buddies, who I know are Rush geeks.
I thought the last time we would see Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee perform together was at the Foo Fighters tribute show to their late drummer, Taylor Hawkins. There is no replacing the late Neil Peart, but it was nice seeing Dave Grohl, Red Hot Chili Pepper Drummer Chad Smith, and Tool drummer Danny Carey perform with the two Rush legends.
Lee and Lifeson were at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, where they announced that Rush will tour a handful of cities in 2026. They also announced that Anika Nilles would be playing drums, and a keyboard player will be added to the touring lineup when they hit the road next year. If you have any questions or qualms about this, I urge you to watch the video above and hear their words.

Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will celebrate 50-plus years of Rush music, their legacy, and honour late bandmate Neil Peart. I'm glad they're doing this, but to be honest, I wish a Michigan show had been listed on the graphic. Still, Chicago isn't too far, and I do have family in Cleveland, who I could stay with.
