Why is it that every time Nintendo announces something, I have to own it? I owe it to my Nintendo Fanboy-ism on this, but yesterdays Nintendo Direct video had me excited for a lot of things, but one certain item stood out.

I already own one of these, but why do I need to buy another one?

Among many products announced yesterday, Nintendo also announced their latest version of the Nintendo 3DS named 'New Nintendo 3DS.' I don't know what it is about Nintendo and that word 'New' but it seems to work. I wasn't overall convinced to buy one of these things since I already own a Nintendo 3DS XL, but then they dropped the bombshell...

New Nintendo 3DS XL Zelda Majora's Mask Edition

Nintendo has these powerful mascots like Mario, Link, Zelda, Donkey Kong, etc. Put them on something and chances are that I will buy them. I am always looking for the better product. When Nintendo makes an improvement on their previous product, I usually end up buying it. I don't do this with any other manufacturer though, meaning Nintendo has had me wrapped around their finger for over 20 years!

Will I actually buy this thing? Well, I went from a no way to a maybe overnight. However, I am still not 100% convinced though. Maybe once I see the thing in action, I'll make my decision from that.
