Majora's Mask

When I was a subscriber to Nintendo Power during the mid- '90's, I was pretty into the Nintendo 64. Each magazine always had a contest where you could mail in a form and hope that you would at least win a T-shirt or something. I never really did win anything though. One year though to commemorate the release of Majora's Mask, Jackson guitars made something awesome.

The Legend of Zelda is one of the most beloved game series of all time. Hell, my favorite game of all time happens to be Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo 64. During the year 2000, the follow up to LOZ: Ocarina of Time was released named Majora's Mask. Ocarina of Time left such a stamp on video game history, how could you follow up to that? Why is it that every time Nintendo announces something, I have to own it? I owe it to my Nintendo Fanboy-ism on this, but yesterdays Nintendo Direct video had me excited for a lot of things, but one certain item stood out. I already own one of these, but why do I need to buy another one?

After fan demand, Nintendo is re-making a Zelda game that is beloved by many that have played the Nintendo 64. When Ocarina of Time was announced for 3DS, it basically 'made' me buy a 3DS. When that became a success, fans wanted more remade Zelda, and that is exactly what they are getting.
