You’ve probably seen the viral video of the woman in Muskegon making a bold escape from a police cruiser. Over the weekend, the Easter Bunny pulled off a similar getaway.

Woman Goes Viral For Escaping Police Cruiser

A viral video from Muskegon Heights, Michigan, surfaced last week showing a handcuffed woman somehow managing to squeeze through a partially open window of a police cruiser.

Thirty‑eight‑year‑old Kendra Aney was stopped by police, who discovered she had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. While officers searched the suspects vehicle, Aney managed to squeeze through a partially open window of the patrol car and escape.

Three days later, police located her in an abandoned home and took her into custody, this time making sure the cruiser’s window was fully rolled up.

Kendra Aney was charged with one felony count of malicious destruction of property and one misdemeanor count of escape from lawful custody. She is currently being held at the Muskegon County Jail on a $150,000 bond.

Easter Bunny Makes Daring Escape From Cruiser

Over the weekend, the Grosse Ile Police Department released a playful reenactment featuring the Easter Bunny in a similar situation.. While the Bunny was handcuffed in the back of a police cruiser, he somehow managed to wiggle out of the window and make a run for it.

According to WOOD-TV8, police were able to track down the escapee without incident and noted they recovered colored eggs along the path of travel.
