Minor League Baseball Team Hosts ‘Appliance Race’ Between Innings [Video]

Minor league sporting events are always good for entertainment. While the caliber of play on the field may not be up to par with the big leagues, these teams usually shine at providing an entertaining experience for the fans. West Michigan's hometown team, the West Michigan Whitecaps, is no different!

Night after night, they do a great job getting the fans involved between innings.

One of the staples of a Whitecaps game is the "Appliance Race", sponsored by the gas company, where kids dress up as a stove, dryer, and water heater and race each other around the field. Their latest race has gone viral after a couple of key moments during the race.
