Michigan Has A New Sauna Festival
Nick Olson of Hearth Sauna and Vlad Borza of Sleeping Bear Saunas are behind the new event. It's set for February 28 through March 2 at Clinch Park in Traverse City, which overlooks Traverse City's gorgeous West Bay.
Howl at the Moon Sauna Co., PONDR, Northern Heat Sauna Rentals, Asante Sauna, Timber Sauna Co., and (this one has my favorite name) Swetti Yeti will be there too.
Over the three day festival, not only can guests relax and soak up the heat in a variety of mobile saunas, but there will also be fire pits, music, games, food, and guest speakers.

According to the Traverse City Ticker, the organizers say standard commercial sauna rates in Michigan average $30-$50, so the festival is priced lower “to encourage high participation rates and welcome the public into the experience.
