Man Shot by Police in Wyoming Admits to Taking Drugs, Shooting Cat [VIDEO]
A man shot by police earlier this week in Wyoming has admitted to firing a weapon inside an apartment and taking drugs.
WZZM-13 reports that the incident happened early Tuesday morning at Ramblewood Apartments.
Police responded to a call about a disturbance and found 25-year-old Casey Quinlan armed inside an apartment. A police officer shot Quinlan in the arm and he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The officer involved has been placed on administrative leave. The Kent County Sheriff's Department is investigating the shooting and the case is to be reviewed by the prosecutor's office.
Quinlan has admitted to to using alcohol, marijuana and possibly LSD, according to court documents. He also admitted to shooting his cat. Bullets fired travelled through walls into other apartments. No one else was reported injured.
Quinlan is expected to be formally charged Monday, Dec. 18 on two counts of discharging a firearm inside a building and a separate count of killing an animal.
