Leo’s Coney Island Now Open in Downtown Grand Rapids

Growing up in the Detroit area, I was surrounded by a plethora of coney islands to choose from, but for me, nothing beats Leo's. Now Grand Rapids gets to have a taste of it.

Leo's Coney Island On Tap is officially open (as of this weekend) in Downtown GR at 122 Oakes St SW. It's part of the Studio Park project that has the movie theater as the center focus.

This Leo's, though, isn't like the other ones, because "on tap" means they also serve alcohol including beer and specialty cocktails.

The menu at Leo's is vast and you can't go wrong with anything you order, however, I suggest that at some point you try the chicken tender pita sandwich *drooling*

Leo's Coney Island also has a location on 28th St.
