50 Cent Books, $5 For an Entire Bag at Grand Rapids Public Library Sale This Weekend
Look, I know we are always told that everything should be in moderation and that we shouldn't go overboard...Yada yada yada. But when it comes to books, I genuinely believe you can never have enough!

GRPL Book Sale Returns Oct. 17-18
In fact, this exact thought popped into my head when I saw that the Friends of the Grand Rapids Public Library Book Sale is back this weekend, Oct. 17-18, at the Main Library on 111 Library Street NE.

My first instinct was that I desperately need to go through my current, slightly insane book collection at home and do a massive purge. Why? Purely so I can clear off enough shelf space to bring home a whole new mountain of reads. And I think that's just fine!

If it has been a little while since you last checked out this sale, heads up that things might look slightly different than you remember. Last year, the library shared that they'd listened to community feedback and updated the layout and flow to make browsing the thousands of titles way smoother.
Saturday & Sunday Deals: 50-Cent Books and $5 Bags
Best of all, you cannot beat these prices! On Saturday, October 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., each book in the general collection is just 50 cents.

They also have a dedicated section for rare and vintage specialty items if you are hunting for unique finds. Then on Sunday, October 18, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., you can bring your own paper grocery bag and fill it for just $5! GRPL accepts cash, credit cards, and Venmo, and workers keep restocking materials throughout the day.
