Kid Rock Shows Up for Jury Duty in Oakland County

After showing his hometown love with 10 sold-out shows at DTE Energy Music Theater, Kid Rock is proving he's also willing to perform his civic duty in Oakland County.

The Detroit Free Press reports that 160 potential jurors showed up at the Oakland County Courthouse this morning, including a Mr. Robert James Ritchie.

Kid Rock currently lives in the Clarkston area and was called as a juror for an upcoming murder trial.

He arrived at the courthouse in Pontiac this morning, escorted by Oakland County Sheriff's deputies. He took a seat at the back of the jury room, reading a paperback book. According to the Free Press, Rock shared a table with two older women who may or may not have known who they were seated next to.
