Kent County Animal Shelter Over Capacity
The shelter shared to social media Sept. 18,
Our shelter has 79 large kennels. Today, with 88 dogs in our care, we are beyond capacity. We must continue to accept stray dogs regardless of whether we are out of space, and right now, we have ZERO open kennels. A dozen more dogs are scheduled to arrive in the next several days, and those are just the ones we know about.
