It has been some time since I have done one of these hasn't it?

Last night I was playing NES with a friend of mine and we tried getting this certain game to work. I forgot how fun it was!

When Super Mario Bros.3 came out, game companies tried to capitalize on it's stellar game play, and this is one of those games.

What: Tiny Toon Adventures is based off of the popular kids cartoon of the '90's. It was basically like a little kid version of the original Looney Tunes. You play as some of the characters from the show like Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck, etc. You run through the levels, collecting carrots, defeating bosses, and more.

Why: Even though the game was directed at a younger audience, it does have very smooth control. Plus how could you not sing along to that Tiny Toons theme song? Each character has their own specials which can make some levels a lot easier. Plucky can float, Furball can climb walls, Buster was the all arounder (kind of like Mario).

Like I mentioned earlier, this game was post Super Mario Bros. 3, so the game play elements are incredibly similar to that game. Just look at the video below and look at the bottom of the screen, look familiar? Super Mario Bros. 3 was an amazing game, so putting that kind of game play into this one just made sense. Plus, it was produced by Konami, a game developer that really created some amazing titles.

It's a friendly game that is still a lot of fun to play. You don't find a lot of games that are based on television shows that are good, this is an exception though. Fortunately, it's a pretty common game that you can find relatively cheap.
