Early White Stripes single sells for $18,000

Rare version of "Lafayette Blues" sold for $18K, which is the second single the Detroit duo put out in 1998.

The killer part about this is that the same single was sold for $6(!) at Gold Dollar in Detroit.  Talk about getting a return on investment.  NME.com
