Third Man Records Drops Big Vinyl Deals On Black Friday

If you are a vinyl collector, Third Man Records in Detroit has exclusive deals you won't find anywhere else, not to mention it's their 10 year anniversary.

Jack White created an independent record label and lifestyle brand called Third Man Records. White has three locations, including Detroit, Nashville, and London. Third Man Records is a vinyl record label, retail store, vinyl pressing plant, a film studio, and a music publisher.

Jack White created Third Man Records in 2001 to reissue The White Stripes' back catalog on vinyl and to maintain ownership of the masters as an insurance policy against potential issues with other record labels. Along the way, White discovered there were only a handful of vinyl pressing plants in the world.

Over the last few years vinyl has seen a resurgence in popularity and White has three of the most popular vinyl stores and pressing plants in the world.

Score Exclusive Black Friday Vinyl At Third Man Records

According to WXYZ, Third Man Records in Detroit, will be celebrating 10 years on Black Friday. There will be giveaways, a live DJ, an open bar, and tons of great vinyl from 1000s of artists. There will also be some special White Stripes vinyl to follow up their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Part of Third Man Records celebration will include White Stripes vinyl that has never been sold in stores and a special box set collection.

The good news is you won't have to camp out overnight or get to Third Man Records in early morning hours because the store doesn't open until 11 a.m. and festivities will last until 6 p.m. So you are aware in case you make the trip, the majority of the events will take place between 1 and 4 p.m.
