It's a face I'm not sure a mother could love, but the many looks of the Manson Family cult leader Charles Manson are unforgettable. Manson was involved in a series of murders that happened in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Manson and some of his California followers were involved in at least nine murders in four different locations. Manson was only convicted of first-degree murder for seven of those killed.
Actress Sharon Tate was one of the seven murders Manson was convicted of.
Manson spent more than half of his life in prison or jail. He became a cult leader when he was a singer-songwriter in L.A. Manson developed an association with Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys who recorded his song "Cease to Exist" later renamed "Never Learn Not to Love."
Manson was hospitalized on November 15, 2017, and died four days later from cardiac arrest.
