A professional soccer team in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has been a long time coming. After the city was officially awarded an expansion franchise from MLS NEXT Pro, several years of planning and construction brought the vision to life, and ultimately created what is now known as Amway Stadium.

For those unfamiliar with the area, Amway Stadium is located at 230 Winter Ave. NW in downtown Grand Rapids, just off U.S. 131. The 8,500-seat venue is expected to welcome approximately 164,350 visitors each season. In addition to 14 professional soccer matches, the stadium is projected to host 56 other events annually, including sporting events and concerts.
