Another restaurant in the Grand Rapids area has closed its doors.

On Thursday morning, Carrabba's Italian Grill, on 28th Street in Kentwood, had a sign on their door that said

This location is NOW CLOSED."

This comes as a surprise as the restaurant hadn't made any announcements in regards to them closing. A spokesperson from the company that owns the restaurant told the GRBJ that the decision was "based solely on business circumstances." All affected employees will get a severance.

When you search for the Carrabba's (in Kentwood) on Google it comes up as 'permanently closed.' The location has also been removed from the chain's website.

The last time Carrabba's posted on their Facebook page was on the 9th but were responding to customers as early as the 13th.

The closest Carrabba's location in West Michigan is in Grandville, near the Rivertown Mall.
