Full Circle Record Shop Moves to Alger Heights Location

Earlier this year, southeast Grand Rapids said goodbye to Reinspired Treasures, a home decor and boutique gift shop. After a decade in business in Alger Heights, the owners decided to close up shop so they could move to Tennessee to be closer to their kids and grandkids.

As a resident, I was bummed to see it go! My mom and I loved checking out all the unusual finds, and it was my go-to for locally made, unique gifts.

While losing a local favorite is never easy, the storefront is no longer empty!

Full Circle Record Shop Moves From 28th Street to Eastern Ave.

A new business has officially moved into the spot next to Real Food Cafe at 2417 Eastern Ave SE. Welcome to the neighborhood, The Full Circle Record Shop!

The store comes to Alger Heights with a long history in the West Michigan music scene, led by veteran record store owner Steve Williamson (who also runs The Corner Record Shop in Grandville).

Originally established in Holland back in 2003, The Full Circle operated on College Avenue for over a decade before closing its storefront in 2016 to consolidate operations with the Grandville store. Williamson eventually brought the Full Circle brand back as a standalone spot in Grand Rapids, on 28th Street SE behind Schuler Books before making the move to Alger Heights.

So, what will you find when you step inside?

Vinyl, CDs, Cassettes, and Vintage Audio Gear

The Full Circle Record Shop carries an impressive inventory of new and used LPs, 45s, CDs, and cassettes across just about every genre. Whether you're hunting down rare vintage vinyl or picking up the latest releases, there is plenty to dig through.

Misfitz Audio Relocates to Offer Stereo Maintenance and Repairs

Even better, they haven't made the move alone. The shop has partnered once again with Misfitz Audio, who relocated right alongside them.

If you need a proper setup to play your collection, Misfitz offers vintage stereo gear, turntables, speakers, and receiver equipment right inside the store. Plus, they provide maintenance and repair services. It's expected to open in September.

The Full Circle Record Shop is now open on Eastern Ave. Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p .m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
